John, here are three reasons why I’ve got a path to victory in Mississippi’s U.S. Senate race:
- Democrats have real momentum here — in the 2023 statewide elections, we had our strongest performance in 20 years, and earlier this year, we broke a decades-long GOP supermajority in the State Senate.
- The Republican incumbent, Cindy Hyde-Smith, is one of the most vulnerable Senators up for re-election, with polling showing that we have a clear chance to defeat her.
- GOP Super PACs have already run attack ads against me, lying about my record — they wouldn’t bother doing that so early in the race if they didn’t see our campaign as a threat.
Now I’m asking, very respectfully, if you’ll help add a fourth reason to that list by making a donation ahead of Wednesday’s FEC deadline. If we hit our final fundraising goal of the year, we will start 2026 in the best possible position to win.
Can you chip in $7, $25, or even $50 today?

I’m running to bring the voices of Mississippians to the U.S. Senate.
My opponent is more concerned with serving the interests of billionaires — but they already have more than enough power in Washington.
Let’s build a future where our families can afford healthcare, our children see opportunity, and our leaders put Mississippi first.
To make it happen, we need to show the nation that our campaign is built to compete and ready to win.
That will mean releasing a strong fundraising report after Wednesday’s FEC deadline.
And that will come down to the decisions made by people like you, reading emails like this one.
So I’m humbly asking: Will you make a contribution of any amount by Wednesday to close out the year strong and help deliver a monumental victory in Mississippi?
Thanks,
Scott Colom
