John,

I’m reaching out again because we are two days from a major fundraising deadline, our last big chance before our election to show that we won’t let working class Californians get left behind.

Can you chip in $3 or any amount you’re comfortable with to power us through this final push?

As I’m having conversations across California, too many people are feeling like the relationship between candidates and themselves is just asking for money. I know our relationship – and the relationship Californians need with their elected officials – is so much more than that.

That’s why I don’t expect you to chip in to every single message my team and I send, but I do want to share what makes this deadline so important.

This race will define California for decades to come. Our allies and opponents alike are watching for anyone to slip, and eying whether we have the necessary support to stay with the pack.

I know that we do. And together, we can bring accountability to Sacramento, lower costs, and create new opportunities. But to get there, we have to end this year strong.

I’m humbly asking for a donation today to get us across the finish line and equip us with the tools we need to win. If you’re able, chip in $3 now.

Thank you,

Betty
