Hi y’all, Kendall here. I’m reaching out because Texas Dems need your support before midnight on 12/31. [[link removed]]
I’m not gonna sugarcoat it: We’ve got two days left until it’s officially the election year, and if we don’t hit our fundraising targets, we’re walking into 2026 like an 80-year old in a sack race with teenagers. In other words, without what we need to win.
Our finance team looked at our needs to start off the year — especially with this huge runoff in Fort Worth, where we have the chance to flip a State Senate seat in Jan — and set us a goal to raise an additional $26,000 before the calendar flips to ‘26. (It was really $25k, but I added that extra thousand for fun. 26 for 26 — right? Can you help?) [[link removed]]
Here’s good news: We’ve recruited a full slate of Democratic candidates across Texas. Every House seat. Every State Senate or Congressional seat. We’ve got folks stepping up in places Democrats haven’t run in years — or ever. And they’re doing it because they believe we can flip seats all over this big ‘ol map.
And they’re right. We can.
But only if we’ve got the infrastructure ready to meet this moment. That means having organizers in the field, voter contact programs up and running, real support for our candidates, and resources in place for the precinct chairs already doing the work.
It all takes money, and you know the GOP isn’t shy about spending theirs to keep us on our heels. But we have grassroots power they can only dream of, and that’s why we’re seeing these districts turning bluer and bluer, one win after another. We’re still $26,000 short of what we want in the bank by December 31. Will you be a part of this and chip in? I hate that fundraising has to be such a big part of my team’s job. But that’s the world we’re living in, and the money we have in the bank is the first thing Republicans will look at when they decide where to spend, where to go on the attack, and where they think we can’t go toe to toe. If we don’t show strength in our numbers (both people and dollars), they’ll think we ain’t built for this.
I refuse to give them that satisfaction. When we made our new motto, “Don’t mess with Texas Democrats,” we freakin’ meant it.
So if you’ve been waiting to chip in — or if you believe, like I do, that Texas can and should be better than the circus we’ve been stuck with — now’s the time. [[link removed]]
I’ll check back in later — hope to see your name on that donor list.

We are the Texas Dems. We're protecting Texans from Republican extremists and their unending stream of misinformation statewide. Let's be clear, Texas Republicans have drawn district lines to choose the voters they want, and D.C. Republicans have poured tens of millions of dollars in dark money into Texas. We are on the front lines of pushing back against their influence with voters.
Taking Texas back from extremist Republicans is going to take all of us. Will you chip in now to help us elect Democrats who will work hard to represent all Texans, and not just the wealthy few? [[link removed]]
