Team –
I am reaching out to thank you for your support this past year as the staff worked to ensure our centered communities understood the importance of our state courts, as it relates to protecting our rights and freedoms, and cast their ballots in the judicial election. We couldn’t do this without you.
Now, I am reaching out to ask for your continued support as we ramp up for more vote engagement, civic education and mobilization programming in 2026 — and beyond.

Your support enabled the following achievements in 2025.
Voter Registration:
Assisted 7,975 Pennsylvanians in registering to vote (as of 12/21/25) with a goal to end the year at 8,000 registrations.
Of those NPPEF assisted in registering to vote, 24% chose not to be affiliated with a political party. NPPEF staff continue to have nonpartisan, civic-minded conversations to lessen the amount of unaffiliated voters, to ensure improved turnout in primary elections.
In October, assisted more than 200 students to vote during a voter registration weekend blitz at Penn State University - State College, Centre County.
Civic Education & Engagement:
Through the Why Courts Matter - PA program, NPPEF hosted 18 “Why Courts and Judicial Elections Matter” presentations and traveled to Philadelphia, Lancaster, Allegheny, Northampton, Chester, Berks, Erie, and Dauphin counties as a part of the “Why Courts Matter Roadshow.”
Organized more than 200 virtual and in-person community events, including candidate forums, town halls, community conversations, voter registration drives, and webinars.
Participated in several multicultural events and holidays including: MLK Day of Action, Black History Month, Juneteenth, Pride, and National Voter Registration Day
Engaged students in high schools and on college campuses and universities across the Commonwealth.
Mobilization:
For the first time in our organization's history, NPPEF ran a non-partisan Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) door-knocking program for the 2025 May Primary Election in five regions, which included: Western PA (Allegheny/Beaver); Capital (Dauphin/York); Collar counties (Montgomery/Bucks/Chester/Delaware); Lehigh Valley/NEPA (Lehigh/Luzerne/Monroe/Northampton); and Philadelphia.
Knocked on 10,644 doors from May 9, 2025, to May 20, 2025
If you appreciate the year-round work, year after year, please consider making a tax-deductible donation in support of NPPEF. We’re a non-profit, and we depend on your support to bring about change in our communities.
Thank you,
Kadida Kenner
