New Polling Shows A Dead Heat

As we finish the year, my team thought it would be important to do a poll to see how my re-election looks in a very tough environment.

What we learned is that my race is a dead heat but that I hold a narrow lead.

Last year, I was one of just one of five Republicans to win a Democratic seat and key to Republicans winning a majority.

Our poll shows the district has moved slightly toward the Democrats but that I still lead my main opponent, Joe Biden’s Ambassador to Ukraine, Bridget Brink, by just two percentage points.

Ambassador Brink has never lived in the 7th District. She grew up on the other side of the state and hasn’t lived in Michigan in three decades.

Washington Democrats convinced her to move into my district in order to run against me and they’ve already pumped more than $1.5 million into her campaign.

Meanwhile, left wing dark money groups funded by George Soros and Nancy Pelosi have spent more than $3 million on ads attacking me on TV, online, on billboards, texts, and even organized protests outside of my office.

My race isn’t about one Republican, it is about our Republican majority and President Trump’s agenda.

The left will stop at nothing to stop President Trump and congressional Republicans as we secure our border, reduce violent crime, bring back American jobs, and lower the cost of living for American families.

My race will be the biggest race in the country next year and if we are going to hold our majority, I need your help.
