As we wrap up 2025, we just want to say thank you. Truly. This work would not have been possible without the time, care, and heart that each of you brought to the Alliance for a Green Economy this year.

Because of your efforts, we were able to come together and win a Green Affordable Pre-Electrification Fund for low-income households, make real progress through countless NY HEAT rallies in Albany and throughout the state, and show up for our communities at local festivals and events - with so many other meaningful actions along the way.

Our EnergySmart campaign also made huge progress by reaching households with 16 Energy Literacy Workshops, helping nearly 900 households apply to various energy assistance programs, and expanding our language and translation capabilities to reach even more of our neighbors.

Whether you volunteered at an event, joined a meeting, shared your skills, or helped spread the word, your contributions mattered.

As we head into the new year, we’re also clear-eyed about the challenges ahead. Ongoing climate policy setbacks at both the federal and state levels remind us that progress is rarely linear. Even so, your commitment has helped us continue to show up, push back, and advocate for policies that put people, communities, and the planet first - especially when it’s hard. You helped strengthen our community, move important conversations forward, and remind us that a greener, more just economy is built by people who care.

We’re so grateful to be in this work alongside you, and we’re excited to carry the momentum from 2025 into the year ahead.
