We have a quick update on the abortion amendment:
We are only a couple of weeks away from Virginia’s 2026 legislative session, and we need to be prepared to move fast to ensure our constitutional amendment to protect reproductive rights moves forward.
With your support, we secured pro-choice leadership in the House of Delegates, and now the General Assembly must vote once again on our amendment to enshrine abortion rights in the state constitution at the beginning of next year.
After that point, the proposed amendment will appear on the ballot next November, where voters will have the final say in protecting reproductive rights once and for all.
