You probably know I didn’t start my career in politics. I was 22 when I
commissioned as an Ensign in the Navy. Later I flew four space shuttle
missions for NASA. I signed up to serve because I believed in something
bigger than myself — this country and the people in it.
That’s why I’m writing to you today about a critical Senate race in New
Hampshire — and why I’m asking you to step up and support Chris Pappas.
Democrats need to flip four seats next year to take back the Senate. That
means we have to go on offense in places like North Carolina, Ohio, and
Maine. But it also means we cannot afford to lose in New Hampshire.
This is an open seat, and if we don’t hold it, there is no path to a
Democratic majority. That’s not spin. That’s math.

Chris Pappas to the Senate and keep NH’s seat blue?
Chris Pappas is exactly the kind of leader we need in Washington. He’s
grounded, values-driven, and works with anyone to deliver for Granite
Staters. But when fundamental freedoms are on the line — reproductive
rights, voting rights, the survival of democracy — he doesn’t flinch.
And that’s why National Republicans are targeting him.
If they flip this seat from blue to red, they’ll do more than win one
election. They’ll lock in control of the Senate and hand Donald Trump a
blank check to rewrite the rules, roll back our rights, and install
loyalists in every corner of government.
We cannot allow this to happen.
Chris needs a surge of grassroots support to stand up to the flood of
money already pouring into this race from MAGA billionaires. We all need
to go all-in for a candidate who can help reshape the Senate and protect
our democracy.
