Even before COVID-19, lack of access to affordable child care was one of the drivers of inequality in this country, disproportionately impacting people of color and women. Now the pandemic is pushing the child care industry to the brink of collapse. We need leaders to prioritize this issue, ensure families have access to child care, and provide our child care workers with the support, protections and benefits they deserve.

Congresswoman Katherine Clark has been leading the charge and advocating for legislative solutions to the child care crisis. So Maura is teaming up with her to host a virtual conversation discussing what’s at stake and what action needs to be taken.
