I just checked our fundraising numbers and wanted to give you an update on where we're at. We’re continuing to inch towards our $25,000 goal (thank you to everyone who has been able to contribute!) and we can’t afford to fall behind now.

This is the most critical challenge our movement has faced all year. Audrey isn't a career politician. She’s a Butte County neighbor who stepped up because she saw how Washington is failing people, time and time again. She refuses corporate PAC money because she is committed to being accountable only to regular, working-class people like us.

That means our public FEC filing is our chance to make a statement. Raising this final $25,000 will generate headlines about our massive grassroots movement and silence the skepticism about whether the movement is catching on. If we miss the opportunity, our opponents will try to frame us as weak. We know we’re up against career politicians who have corporate donors on speed dial, and we know that people-power is the only way to change the status quo in Washington.
