Right now, the people controlling Congress have no plan to lower health care costs.
None.
Democrats have put forward proposals to cap drug prices, protect Medicare, and stop premiums from skyrocketing. House Republicans have blocked them at every turn, including earlier this month when they failed to extend ACA tax credits once again.
What's their alternative? Let premiums rise, and limit reproductive health coverage. That's it, that's the best they could come up with.
This is what happens when politicians who prioritize their own careers stay in power. Costs go up. Quality care declines. Families fall behind. And nothing changes.
