[2x Match: Annual Donors Needed [Donate Now]] ([link removed])

Be the friend birds need before midnight. 2X Match Offer: Unclaimed. ([link removed])
Swift and graceful in flight, the American Golden-Plover is probably one of the fastest fliers among shorebirds, and with good reason: it migrates every year from Arctic Alaska and Canada to southern South America. Their striking spring plumage is seen mostly in the heartland of our continent, on the Great Plains and the Mississippi Valley where they often forage in open fields and prairies, far from water. But in the wake of long-term population losses and accelerated declines within the past decade, these elegant plovers are now listed as an Orange Alert Tipping Point species in the latest State of the Birds report.

Will you help bring birds back today and give them a brighter tomorrow? We need 43 generous bird lovers to come to their defense today to keep pace for our ambitious year-end goal. Please make an annual gift before midnight while your first gift could be matched 2X, up to $500,000. ([link removed])

Guided by science and informed by 120 years of experience, we identify which birds and habitats are most in need of protection and which will most benefit from our efforts—findings that drive effective action across our unrivaled network. With your support, we are defending the laws that protect birds, promoting strong new legislation aimed at keeping important habitats resilient, and fighting for the bold action birds need now. And it’s working: Our comprehensive program of research, advocacy, education, and hands-on conservation is a powerful force in preventing future extinctions and helping declining populations recover.

Please be one of the 43 supporters that we’re relying on to start an annual donation before midnight to keep our best work going strong. For a limited time, your first gift could be matched, up to $500,000, to protect birds and their habitats. ([link removed])
Sincerely,
