This year, the Trump administration launched some of its most aggressive, unlawful attempts yet to undermine our rights, our privacy, and our safety. And every time, Attorney General Anthony Brown stepped in to stop them.

Here are just a few of the fights he’s taken on this year against the Trump administration:

1️⃣ Protecting cities from unlawful attempts to deploy the National Guard.
When the administration attempted to deploy the National Guard in Illinois and threatened to do so in other cities without legal cause, Maryland joined other states to defend against this lawless overreach.

2️⃣ Suing to stop cuts to SNAP benefits for lawful permanent residents.
The federal government attempted to unlawfully deny food assistance to families who rely on it. Anthony acted immediately to keep food on Marylanders’ tables.

3️⃣ Challenging attempts to seize unredacted voter data.
The administration demanded sensitive voter data from states. Anthony helped lead the case, pushing back against this unprecedented privacy breach.

4️⃣ Defending the Department of Health and Human Services.
They tried to tear down HHS by firing more than 10,000 public health workers, but Anthony sued and stopped them in their tracks, protecting critical health services.

5️⃣ Protecting federal workers during the shutdown.
When federal employees were unlawfully denied pay and protections, Anthony stood with the workers who keep our government running.

These are just five of the more than 40 legal actions we have taken this year alone to defend Marylanders, which takes enormous time and resources.

And now, we are days away from our final end-of-year fundraising deadline, right before Maryland’s legislative session fundraising freeze begins. From January through April, the campaign isn’t allowed to raise a single dime.

That means everything we raise now must carry us through the first months of the election year, when the stakes are highest, and the attacks will only escalate.

So, team, we’re asking: Will you chip in $5 today to help us finish the year strong and fuel Anthony’s fight in 2026?
