Dear John,

I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season so far. I’m interrupting your break today to remind you that while the rest of the world seems to be on pause now, the climate crisis is not — and neither is OLCV.

Because of our supporters like you, this past year we:

  • Pushed legislators to act on climate through lobbying, advocacy days, and emails to lawmakers;
  • Demanded accountability from lawmakers on their climate inaction;
  • And exceeded our 2025 member action goal by over 4,000!

None of this happened by accident. It happened because people like you chose action over silence, and making a gift to OLCV today is what gets it started.

Right now, we’re facing a critical moment. The decisions made in the coming months will shape our climate future for decades. To meet this challenge, we need to enter the new year strong — and that depends on your support today.

Will you make a generous end-of-year gift of $50 or $100 to OLCV before midnight on December 31st? Your contribution fuels organizing, advocacy, and rapid response, at a time when our climate is under threat. With Trump in the White House, what we can accomplish at the state level is increasingly vital for ensuring a sustainable and livable future for all.

Make a gift

Every dollar you give today helps us push harder and have a greater impact for a livable future. No matter what you’re able to give, your gift matters. It’s an investment in clean energy, environmental justice, and hope.

Thank you for standing with us this year. Together, we’re building a future where people and the planet come first.

With determination,

Lindsey Scholten (she/her)

OLCV Executive Director
