It’s Chrissy here -- Mike’s wife. I wanted to reach out personally as we head into the final days of the year and Mike’s last public fundraising report of 2025.
In just a few days, this report will go public, and it will be one of the first things national Republicans and outside groups look at as they decide how aggressively to target Mike’s seat next year. I know that might sound abstract, but from where I sit, it’s very real because I’ve seen how quickly things can change once those decisions are made.
Mike has never taken the easy path. He still believes in showing up for voters year-round and he still puts his values first -- even when that makes him a bigger target. That’s part of what makes me so proud of him, and it’s also why moments like this matter so much.
As CA-49 welcomes a whole new group of voters who haven’t seen Mike’s name on the ballot before, the work ahead is bigger than ever. The strength we show right now helps determine how prepared we are to meet it.
