Our end-of-month fundraising goal in a few days is our most important deadline yet for two reasons:

1. It’s our first end-of-month deadline of the brand new quarter — the last full quarter before Election Day. It’s critical we report our strongest numbers yet.


2. We’re about to lose Jon to the farm in August. For most of the month, he’ll be busy harvesting peas and grain in Big Sandy.

You see, as the only working farmer in the U.S. Senate, Jon takes his farm pretty seriously. We’re not exaggerating — last month, he traded in his small square hay baler for a round baler and won’t stop talking about it.

We’ll lose Jon for about 16 hours a day while he’s in the field harvesting. So we’ve set an ambitious $30,000 end-of-month goal to keep us on track for the quarter. Can you chip in to help?
