Human person! It’s me! Bailey!

I’m the official campaign dog of Haley Stevens for Senate (self-appointed) and semiprofessional snow explorer. ❄️🦴

I hope your holiday was full of warm treats, belly rubs, and all the things that make your tail wag. 🐕 I just wanted to send a quick note before the New Year, straight from the snowy sidewalk here in Michigan, to say: Thank you. 💙

This time of year is special. Even I can feel it – and I spend most of my time thinking about treats and squirrels. 🍖🐿️

Christmas was a blast over here! 🎄 I got a brand-new squeaky toy, a peanut butter bone the size of my head, and my mom may or may not have caught me sneak-eating the Christmas ham. YUM. No regrets. 🍗👅

I’ve been ruff-ing it out on the campaign trail with my mom (she’s Haley’s finance director!), and I’ve seen just how much heart, hustle, and hope this campaign is made of. From long meetings (I nap through those, obvi 😴), to canvass launches, to organizing events where so many nice human people pet me behind the ears – this grassroots team is magical. ✨

I love them. I know I love everybody, but I reeeeeally LOVE them. 🥹💕

But honestly? It hasn’t all been treats and chew toys. 🦴

I know a lot of families have had a tough year. I’ve overheard my mom and her friends talking about folks worrying about grocery prices, heating bills, and health care. That stuff is hard. 🥺 And it doesn’t go away just because the holidays are here.

But that’s why I love this campaign so much. Because I’ve seen Haley work her tail off for humans all across Michigan. She listens. She shows up. She fights for families (and their dogs). 🐾

And if you had a hard year, I just wanted to say: You’re not alone. I’m sending you so many snuggles and kisses right now!! 💖🐶
