There’s one last big item on our August to-do list: hitting our end-of-month fundraising goal.
But first, we wanted to highlight the amazing work this movement has been doing all month long — knocking on doors, hosting barnstorms, and turning out in force at events all across the country.
Just last week, we set a record for the biggest crowd of our campaign with 12,000 people at the Twin Cities Town Hall. A few days later, we broke that record with 15,000 people gathered under the Space Needle in Seattle. All weekend, supporters organized groups to knock on doors in every corner of the country. And every day, supporters like you help make this campaign stronger by using our new tool, Reach.
Together, we’re showing the world that there’s a whole lot of people ready for big, structural change. Piece by piece, event by event, we’re building a movement.
These crowds are made up of thousands of people who chose to invest their weekday evening or Sunday afternoon in the fight for big, structural change.
And the names on our Grassroots Donor Wall are another a physical representation of the power of this movement.
The Grassroots Donor Wall and these town halls are slices of what this movement’s been up to. We’re breaking records, celebrating our supporters, and aiming even higher for the months ahead.
Our movement grows every time someone decides to own a piece of this fight — by showing up to a town hall, signing up for a volunteer shift, or becoming a grassroots donor.
