Amid ongoing violence and hardship in Haiti, Quixote Center partnered with Haitian Christian Community Development (DCCH) to help 100 of the most vulnerable farming families in Les Cayes rebuild their livelihoods. Through seed and livestock loan programs, microcredit unions, and hands-on training, families are increasing food production, generating income, and empowering women--all using a sustainable, community-led model. In just nine months, harvest yields have skyrocketed, three microcredit unions are operating, and livestock and seed-sharing cycles are expanding benefits to new families. These early results show real hope for long-term recovery. With your continued support, this proven pilot can deepen its impact and help even more families move out of extreme poverty.
