Hi John,
I hope you’re having a restful holiday weekend. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself — my name is Arif Hasan, and I’m Eugene Vindman’s campaign manager.
I’m reaching out today because Eugene is facing a critical FEC fundraising deadline at the end of this month, and this one matters more than most. This will be the first public report that shows whether Donald Trump’s retribution campaign against Eugene is working — or failing.
Over the last few weeks, Trump, Pete Hegseth, Roger Stone, and national Republicans have escalated their attacks. They’ve launched a sham investigation, smeared Eugene’s character, and even called for him to be charged with “seditious conspiracy.”
It’s outrageous. And it’s deliberate.
Eugene has been one of the GOP’s top targets all year, running in one of the most competitive districts in the country. But this coordinated escalation is different — and it demands a stronger response from our campaign.
That response starts with showing undeniable grassroots strength.
Unfortunately, I need to be honest with you: Right now, we’re tracking behind where we need to be heading into this FEC deadline. And if we don’t close the gap before the end of the quarter, it will give Republicans exactly the opening they’re looking for.
Here’s what falling short could mean:
These are real consequences, and the decisions we make right now will determine whether Eugene’s fight for truth and accountability continues at full strength.
This grassroots team has always had Eugene’s back — and I’m asking if you can help us once again.

Thank you for standing with Eugene and for everything you do to keep this campaign moving forward.
