Dear PCCC Supporters (and people who thought this was a Christmas coupon)...
It's David Cross here.
Announcing a year-end fundraising email for a group I've collaborated with on everything from electing Democrats to taxing the hell out of Elon Musk. (There's a lot of hell in there to tax.)
Here’s the deal: The Progressive Change Campaign Committee is one of the few groups in politics that actually does the thing everyone claims to want -- taking on powerful interests, engaging effectively in the halls of power, and backing candidates who aren’t sponsored by oil companies or whatever Trump coin just collapsed this week.
And that's why I hope you support them by donating now...or monthly, like so many others do.
Not because it’s fun.
Not because it’s sexy.
But because it’s necessary. The PCCC is focused on winning swing districts with bold economic fighters who appeal to working-class voters. They want to build a durable majority so that we aren't winning elections by .1% one year and descending into fascism the next.
And if the worst evil-villain oligarchs in the country (and the world!) are investing heavily in turning America blood red, it’s usually a good sign you should invest against them.
If you can give $25, great. Do that here.
If you can give $50, amazing. Do that here.
If you can give $100, I will briefly imagine you in a heroic montage calendar with Bernie Sanders.
And if you can make it monthly, that allows the PCCC to plan with certainty as they make big plans to win swing districts in 2026.
If you truly can’t give right now, that’s okay too. Just keep the PCCC in mind for when you can give.
Thanks for sticking around this far. Your attention span is longer than most Americans. Happy new year.
– David Cross
P.S. If you're looking to make a tax-deductible donation, you can also give to the Progressive Change Institute, which will engage in a Big Ideas Project in 2026 – conducting polling and message testing to provide data about the popularity of bold economic ideas and the story telling around those ideas. Make a tax-deductible donation here.
