Dear Friend,

Unpacking the past week has been a challenge.  In order to work out what has been going on, here are just a few of the most recent absurdities from the President:

• He has proposed releasing ISIS to release ISIS fighters in Europe to punish our longtime allies Germany and France
• He proposed giving himself, a 5-time draft dodger, the Medal of Honor
• At the G8, he did Putin's bidding to get Russia back in but then skipped session on climate change and lied about it 

With all of the incredulous noise created by the POTUS, one voice in particular has been very quiet.  My opponent, Blaine Luetkemeyer, has yet to stand up the president and speak up for the people of Missouri's 3rd District.  

Is he not concerned that releasing ISIS fighters anywhere in the world will be a threat to our national security?  

Does he not care that the President belittled veterans and active duty military?  

Does he think it's a good idea for Russia to be let back into the G7?  

We don't have to wonder about his thoughts on climate change because we already know he is a climate change denier.  

As a wife, a mother, and a scientist, I care deeply about our national security, our veterans, and especially about our planet's health.   I understand the issues middle class families are facing daily.

As a member of Congress, I will not be afraid to speak truth to power and I can bring innovative and practical solutions to the table to help solve our most challenging issues.  

But in order to get there, I need your help.
