John,
The House passed the HEROES Act on May 15. Yet for two months, the Senate has not brought this critical legislation to the floor, nor has it proposed an alternative solution.
Critical to every member and retiree of the BCTGM, the HEROES Act includes an effective, comprehensive solution to the multiemployer pension funding crisis that would provide long-term security for pension funds, including the B&C Fund, and for beneficiaries.
Without strong pressure from working people, the Senate may not take action on this vital legislation and we would lose this valuable opportunity to protect our pensions.
Tell the Senate to Pass the HEROES Act!
The BCTGM will continue to mobilize over the next several weeks to save our pensions, lives and livelihoods. Throughout the country, we’ll rally outside Senate district offices for the HEROES Act and participate in actions to get our voices heard.

It is critical that Senators hear from BCTGM members, retirees and their families right now and tell them to pass the HEROES Act! This legislation offers the best opportunity for a legitimate, comprehensive legislative solution to the multiemployer funding crisis.
Tell the Senate to get back to work. Protect our pensions, our health, our economy and our country. Pass the HEROES Act.
In solidarity,
BCTGM Activist Network
