Republicans will read this report line by line

Hi John,

We want to take a moment to explain why the December 31 FEC deadline is such a big deal — and why we still need to raise another $13,290.67 before then.

But if you’re already in the know, will you chip in $35 right now to help us close the gap before our numbers go public?

Here’s how this works:

Every three months, political entities like the California Democratic Party are required by law to file a detailed report with the Federal Election Commission. That report shows exactly how much money we’ve raised, how many donors we have, and whether our momentum is growing or slowing.

And once it’s filed, it’s public.

Donald Trump might not personally be a big reader, but you better believe that his top cronies will download our report the minute it’s posted and go through it line by line. These Republican operatives will compare it to past reports and see whether we have the resources to flip seats here in California — or if they have an opening to stop us.

This is the first public filing deadline since Proposition 50 passed, so it’s a key moment for Republicans to see whether our grassroots momentum is enduring or fading.

If our numbers look strong, it sends a clear signal: California Democrats are energized, organized, and ready to flip the U.S. House.

If they look weak, Republicans will see an opening — and flood our state with dark money, attack ads, and outside operatives.

Right now, we’re $13,290.67 short of where we need to be to send the right message before the deadline.

This is one of those key moments where the numbers on paper really do shape what comes next.

We have just a few days left to finish strong and show (on the public record) that California Democrats are not slowing down after Prop 50. Will you help us close the gap by making a contribution today?
