Growing up, my parents ingrained in me the importance of public service. From youth sports to local government, they helped me appreciate the importance of communities working together to make a difference.

It’s why I studied History in college, and why I spent 26 years teaching high school social studies in public schools.

But it doesn’t take a History degree to know our country is in crisis.

Our critical institutions are on the chopping block, and our country is heading in the wrong direction. Everything is getting more expensive like groceries, heating costs, and our healthcare premiums. I want to fight for working class families and bring down these out of control prices.
