John, I’ve spent the final weeks of 2025 reflecting on the year—where we started, how far we’ve come, and what comes next. We started 2025 with a shift of federal power, and we faced an uncertain future. An administration that supported gun safety was replaced by one that cares more about gun industry profits than saving lives. But even then, I never lost hope in the resilience of the American people. The gun violence prevention movement has overcome bigger obstacles before, and we will again.
