Our campaign has a bit of a situation on our hands, and we were hoping you could lend a hand.

The summer months are notoriously difficult fundraising months and we can't afford to slow down right now. Not when Mitch McConnell is continuing to run millions of dollars in ads against us and we're on the verge of hitting our one million contribution milestone.

But the problem is our average donation amount is down. And in the last few days, our average donation has been even lower than usual.

So we have two choices to make: we either need more donations or for supporters giving their first donation to give just a bit more than we normally ask for.

Normally most first time contributors chip in $5. If you would consider contributing $10 we'll be where we need to be as we head into the notoriously slow summer months. What do you say?
