With big fights looming in 2026 over everything from health care subsidies to control of Congress in the midterms, we need to set ourselves up to start the new year off strong.

Next year, people will be counting on us to continue standing up in nonviolent resistance against Trump’s authoritarian agenda. And working people will still be relying on us to organize the Democratic Party around a bold, populist agenda that delivers real, tangible change — like paid leave, Medicare For All, affordable child care, and so much more.
If we get to work now, 2026 can be the year we both retake the House and rebuild the Democratic Party around a robust working class agenda. But to make that happen, we need to prove the momentum behind our movement — and that starts with reaching this goal.
