Yep, that’s me — with bangs!
I’ve been an organizer all my life. I was proud to serve as a Wellstone Action trainer. I trained folks like Attorney General Keith Ellison, even my buddy Tim Walz.
But the most important thing I learned, and that I shared with my campers at Camp Wellstone, was this:
Politics is about showing up and listening.
It’s not about Aaron Sorkin-esque speeches, or polling results, or what the pundits in DC say. It’s about showing up at folks’ doors in every corner of the state, and hearing about their hopes, their dreams, and what keeps them up at night.
That’s how I’m running this campaign. That’s how we win, and then that’s how I turn around and govern.
So I’m starting early and building a massive grassroots turnout operation — so we can make sure every Minnesotan is heard.
But Minnesota is a big state, and running an operation like this is going to take a lot of time, energy, and, yes, snacks… (There’s not a chip I’ve met that hasn’t become my bestie.)
And I need your help to make sure we have the resources to keep hiring staff, buying signs and supplies, and keeping the gas tank full.
