When I’m traveling Texas—talking with folks where they're at, registering
voters on college campuses, answering questions at a town hall, or signing
up new volunteers—I’m reminded of the fact that our democracy works best
when we bring more people into it.

This is why we built Powered by People. Not to chase headlines or win the
social media wars, but to show up everywhere, listen to everyone, and help
people take part in shaping the future of their communities and our state.

As we head into a big 2026, with a lot of work ahead of us, I wanted to
