You don't have to leave home to retreat. 

 

As we grapple with this past year and prepare for the next, it helps to know we don't have to go it alone. Many of us are holding complex and contradictory feelings about 2025...and deep questions about where to go from here.

 

What do we need to have learned from the lessons of this past year? 

How do we prepare our selves for the mystery of what is next? 

 

EMERGE Home Retreat is designed to meet you where you are....at home. It is an invitation to go inward and reflect on how we got here and what its going to take to heal. Over the five days that lead us into the new year, we will support you with daily movement practices, provocative journaling prompts, visioning tools and resources and LIVE coaching calls with Kerri and community to support the transition from who we are to who we are becoming. 

One of my favorite things about this retreat is that it invites us to explore how to create a home practice that we can take into the new year to support ongoing readiness and resilience. There is no one-right-way to develop a home practice. Rather we tune into what is needed each day and adapt accordingly. Practice should be accessible and meet us where we are. Here are some tips to get started and stay consistent: 

  • Consider how much time you can commit to an intentional practice. Some days this might be as short as 15 minutes, others an hour. It is not the duration that determines the impact but your quality of intention and presence. 
  • Make a space in your home that is cozy and inviting. I recommend candles for gentle lighting, soft rugs/pillows/blankets to comfort you in the winter months, an alter and whatever you need to call in the sacred, a journal for reflection and inspiration. And most importantly, a space that can offer privacy for even the briefest moment (a closet :) 
  • Be compassionate when your practice does not live up to your expectations. Trust the even the briefest pause can offer a profound shift the direction of your day.

  • STAY HOME: The retreat takes place December 28 - January 1st from the comfort of your home where you can design your setting and schedule.

  • DESIGN YOUR EXPERIENCE. Each morning, you will receive a toolkit  featuring video movement practice, journaling prompts, visioning tools and inspiration. 

  • MUTUAL SUPPORT: Our journey will be supported by daily LIVE community calls to help you move through resistance and embrace possibility. 

  • COLLECTIVE CARE: While we will be practicing from our individual spaces, we will be journeying into the new year together in a community of practice.
