After what has been an incredibly difficult year, I hope you and your loved ones are finding rest and renewal during this winter break.
As we are closing out the year, and with just 4 days left until our end of year fundraising deadline, I want to share an important update: We’re still short of our end-of-year goal—and we need to close a $4,325 gap fast.
This matters because the first numbers we report in January set the tone for 2026. If we fall short, Republican backed Super PACs will see it as an opportunity to target this seat the same way they’ve targeted so many progressive voices across the country.
But let me be clear, I am tired of always playing defense, we need to go on offense. The 2026 Illinois Democratic Primary is less than 100 days away. With five open Congressional seats, a US Senate Race, an open Comptroller seat, and dozens of down ballot seats in the General Assembly and County Boards, we have a real opportunity to grow our progressive coalition.
We can elect strong progressive leaders at every level of government. The stronger I am, the more I can help progressives up and down the ballot win.
