Look, sending these fundraising emails isn’t why I’m running for president.

I’m running for president because, like you’ve heard me say time and time again, we are in the battle for the soul of this nation.

But this isn’t just about winning an election -- our country’s character is on the ballot this year. You and I both know that four more years of Donald Trump would forever alter the very fabric of our nation.

He’s not going to make it easy for us, though. Trump can spend his $295 million dollar war chest down to zero to try and buy his way into a second term. But I’m not going to be intimidated by him, and you shouldn’t be either.
