A cornerstone principle for American freedom: the right to worship—or not—however you choose. And Boebert wants it gone.
John,
If Lauren Boebert had her way, the church would be the state. Don’t take our word for it—Boebert said this herself:
“The church is supposed to direct the government. The government is not supposed to direct the church. That is not how our Founding Fathers intended it. I’m tired of this separation of church and state junk that’s not in the Constitution."
Extremists like Boebert are weaponizing Christian Nationalist ideology to fight for total abortion bans, taxpayer-funded private religious schools, and undoing LGBTQ+ and gender equality—including taking away women’s voting rights.
This flies in the face of the Constitution. We have the freedom under the First Amendment to worship however and whatever we choose because America’s Founders saw firsthand the danger of state-sanctioned religion.
Boebert and Trump don’t believe in freedom. They believe only in submission to MAGA. And they won’t stop until they control both the Church and the State.
But we can stop them right now. Trisha Calvarese is our best chance to defeat MAGA extremist Lauren Boebert and put an end to their fascist agenda.
Boebert is vulnerable: she only won re-election because of 546 votes. In 2024, as her Democratic opponent, Trisha had the best performance a Democrat has ever had in this district, overperforming Kamala Harris by 6 pts as Boebert underperformed Trump in every single county.
