Hi John, it’s Nathan – Mike Levin’s finance director.
With just five days left before our final FEC report of the year is filed , I wanted to share a quick and honest update on where things stand.
On December 31, our end-of-quarter fundraising data will become public. National Republicans, outside groups, and our opponent will be looking closely at this report to decide how aggressively to target CA-49 as we head into the election year.
Here’s what makes this moment so important:
* The district has changed . More than 177,000 voters new to CA-49 will be eligible to vote here for the first time, and reaching them will require early, sustained investment.
* This seat remains highly competitive. Political experts at Sabato’s Crystal Ball continue to rank CA-49 among the most competitive races in the country, and only a handful of seats separate control of the House.
As Mike’s finance director, my job is to make sure we enter 2026 prepared. Mike refuses corporate PAC money, which means our strength depends entirely on grassroots supporters stepping up before deadlines like this one.
If you’re able, will you chip in $3 before December 31 to help us close out the year strong?
