This past weekend, I joined the New York-1 Democratic Zoom Unity Party in support of Nancy Goroff’s campaign for Congress, and I added my name to the unifying effort to beat the abominable Lee Zeldin.

As somebody whose job it is to, on a weekly basis, get into the head of President Trump, I know just how important it is to not only beat Trump, but to oust his top allies, too.

Here in our home district, New York-1, we have a unique opportunity to do just that by beating Lee Zeldin, so long as we rally behind our inspiring candidate, Nancy Goroff. But this will take all of us -- and it was just fantastic to see such a strong show of support from our Unity Committee, Dave Calone, Rich Schaffer, Bridget Fleming, Perry Gershon, and the 500 supporters who joined us.

But here’s the rub: Zeldin starts this race with $2.5 million in the bank. As a community, it is our job to help Nancy catch up, because the campaign to beat Lee starts now.
