As the Congressional August recess comes to a close, we
wanted to catch you up on what our campaign has been up to!

IN THE DISTRICT

Dan canvassed with volunteers in Western Springs and
listened to residents' concerns about issues that included
keeping our children and communities safe. Here he is knocking
doors and talking to constituents about their views:

He and his wife Judy attended the St. Gerald’s Family Fest
in Oak Lawn. They played some bingo, stopped by Father Malcolm's
food tent, and enjoyed the festivities!

On August 17th, we hosted a 16 inch softball tournament in
Kennedy Park. We were happy to see that the championship game
featured two teams from the Beverly/Mt. Greenwood area defending
their home turf.

We had a goodbye lunch for some of the canvassers who are
heading off to college. They were all a massive help in getting
the word out about the work Dan is doing for the families of
IL-03. We wish them the best of luck as they start a new school
year!
