This year, House Republicans doubled down on efforts to cut Medicaid, strip health care from families, and slash food assistance for hundreds of thousands of Alabamians.
I voted no on their so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” — because kicking 150,000 Alabamians off health care and threatening SNAP for 375,000 families is unacceptable. Instead, we chose a different path:
- Protected rural hospitals and home health care for seniors
- Delivered investments in roads, transit, and disaster recovery
- Helped small businesses and communities grow through federal grants
As we approach the end of the year, will you chip in $15, $25, or any amount to help us keep pushing for the resources and respect our district deserves?
Thank you for being part of this grassroots team.
— Terri
