If you’ve read the news recently, you’ve seen the stories about how Democrats running for Senate are riding a “green wave.” No, not green energy (though their Green New Deal is certainly part of the package) -- green as in money.
My colleagues in nearly every race across the country got outraised by their Democratic opponents -- key battleground states like Colorado, Maine, Montana and North Carolina.
Holding our Senate Majority is my top political priority. Just four seats could determine who holds power and the Senate could very well be our last line of defense against the Left.
Frankly, this has been on my mind for quite some time and I just don’t understand. I know we can do better.
If you need a refresher on why this election matters more than ever, I’ve put together some of my thoughts below. I hope you’ll consider each of these points carefully and make a donation to help Republicans get back on top so we can win this November.Joe Biden’s path to the White House is tied to winning the Senate. He’s stumping for progressive Senate candidates because he knows he will be ineffective in the White House without a Senate who will pass his radical agenda.Speaking of radical agendas, if enacted, the Left’s tax proposals would cripple every single family in America. In order to pay for policies like the Green New Deal and Medicare for All, Biden has devised a tax plan, drafted by Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and John Kerry. Democrats not only plan to reverse President Trump’s historic tax cuts, but also implement a wave of new taxes on the American middle class.We are in a fight for freedom and liberty. With the rise of candidates like Bernie and AOC, socialism, and inherently communism, are being normalized while capitalism and free markets are being villainized. We have remained the land of opportunity and a beacon of hope -- the shining city on a hill for all those seeking to make a better life for themselves, including refugees of communist regimes -- only because of the founding values and systems that have made our nation so great.It’s all on the line. All of it -- the futures of the Supreme Court, border security, fully funded armed forces, the protection of your Constitutional rights, the continued confrontation of China, your right to choose your doctor and your health care plan, your tax cuts, your businesses, jobs, getting our economy back on track... The Democrats will reverse all of it and more if they gain the Senate. We cannot risk turning power over to the party that has put on nonstop theatrics and played partisan games with the American people since President Trump took office.John, I shouldn’t have to make the case for why we need your help more than ever to SAVE our Republican Majority, but this is just the start of a very long list. There are good men and women fighting for you, our values and our agenda every day, but they can’t keep up the good fight if Chuck Schumer and the Left overtake us.
