Hilda is a trailblazer. Not only was she the first Latina ever elected to the State Senate, but was the first Latina to serve as Secretary of Labor under President Obama.

And over the past several years, I have worked with Hilda to provide better educational outcomes for families in Los Angeles. I’m convinced that she’s the right person to continue that work in Congress.

Hilda has been a force for good in LA County – by helping expand healthcare access, combating homelessness, advocating for environmental justice, and much more. But the new districts created by Proposition 50 means she’s starting from ground zero and needs our immediate support to finish Q4 in a strong position.
