I. State of the Race
II. Frequently Asked Questions
• Question: Are grassroots contributions really that important?
Answer: Yes! Unlike Zach Nunn, we don’t have dark money donors, special interests, or corporations behind us. This campaign is a people-powered movement, fueled by grassroots supporters donating on average $25.33.
And if we’re going to stay competitive, we need a surge of grassroots donations before our End-of-Year deadline to match Republican spending, protect our momentum, and show that IA-03 is still very much in play.
• Question: Are grassroots contributions really that important?
Answer: The work that wins elections doesn’t start next fall… it’s already underway. Early grassroots support helps us build a strong foundation, make smart investments, and plan strategically for the on-year just around the corner.
And what’s more, End-of-Year fundraising totals send a powerful signal that the campaign has momentum, grassroots strength, and the resources to win — which helps us stay competitive.
• Question: What happens if we fall short of the End-of-Year deadline?
Answer: Falling short of our fundraising goals would limit our ability to invest in voter outreach, messaging, and organizing at a critical moment when Republicans are doubling down.
Falling even $1 behind could determine whether we can hire staff, print materials, or open field offices.
So hitting this End-of-Year deadline is critical to ensuring that we can start 2026 on the right foot, not playing catch-up.
III. Looking Ahead
The path forward is clear. Early grassroots support now will determine how strong we start 2026 — and whether we have what it takes to defeat Zach Nunn, flip IA-03, and take back a Democratic Majority.
That’s why it’s so important that we hit our $20,000 End-of-Year fundraising goal. Every dollar donated before midnight on December 31st will help ensure we enter the new year with momentum, strength, and a real shot at victory.
Remember: This race will only get more competitive – and more expensive – in the months ahead. So if we’re going to elect Jennifer Konfrst, we need your help.
