On January 1, the Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God, our Shepherd, Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke will be concelebrating the Holy Mass that will be presided by Pope Leo in St. Peter’s Basilica, at 10:00 AM Rome time. You will be able to view at Vatican News.

Cardinal Burke said: “I will certainly offer the Holy Mass, on January 1st, concelebrating with the Holy Father, for the intentions of the Rosary Warriors of “Operation Storm Heaven”.

The month of January is dedicated to the Holy Name of Jesus.

St. Bernard of Clairvaux, a Doctor of the Church, said: “Are you troubled? Think but of Jesus, speak but the name of Jesus, the clouds disperse and peace descends anew from heaven. Have you fallen into sin? So that you fear death? Invoke the name of Jesus and you will soon feel life returning. No obduracy of the soul, no weakness, and coldness of heart can resist this holy name – there is no heart which will not soften and open in tears at this holy name.”

Exorcists say the name of Jesus to break off a relationship between a demon and a human being. Foul language and taking the name of Jesus in vain are so common in today’s conversations. Do you show reverence by bowing your head every time you say the name of Jesus? If you’re not in the habit of doing so, make it one of your New Year’s resolutions. 

Remember that the first of every month is Cardinal Burke's Rosary Crusade, Operation Storm Heaven. Since His Eminence will not be leading us in the Rosary after the Holy Mass, please remember to offer your Rosary for the intentions of all the Rosary Warriors. There are 15 Promises Our Lady gave to those who pray the Holy Rosary. Therefore, I encourage you to recite the Holy Rosary every day as Our Lady requested, if you do not do so already.
