I hope you had a peaceful holiday. I spent time with my family — the same family whose story led me to this work.

My great grandparents never forgot what it meant to live in a place where speaking up was dangerous, and voting was not a right. Their experience taught me that democracy survives only if people care for it, protect it, and defend it.

As we enter the final days before our only public fundraising deadline of the year, I need your help. Everything we raise will be made public, and opponents, pundits, and reporters will be studying our numbers closely. Will you chip in any amount today?
