As the end of the year approaches, we’ve been reflecting on all of the ways supporters like you have helped make sure students can not just attend college—but thrive, graduate and become leaders. Here are just a few of the many accomplishments you’ve helped make possible:

* More than 550,000 students have earned their college degrees, thanks to UNCF.
* More than 11,000 scholarships and internships have been awarded each year so that low- and moderate-income families can afford college tuition, books, and room and board.
* Our UNCF community came together at this year’s “A Mind Is …”® Gala and many other UNCF fundraising events to renew our resolve for the challenges ahead and ensure students continue to get the support they need.

Looking ahead to 2026, we have so much work to do. Thanks to federal legislation passed this year, significant cuts to Pell Grants and caps to Parent PLUS Loans begin in 2026 and are now threatening the futures of thousands of young Americans.

That’s why it’s so important to reach our $250,000 end-of-year goal so we can ensure that students are able to stay focused on learning, growing and earning their degrees.
