In many cases, our advocacy and litigation either defeated the administration’s agenda or forced it to stall:

After the Trump administration proposed eliminating the Roadless Rule and opening 45 million acres of National Forest to logging, Earthjustice supporters filed 70,000 comments in opposition – joining over half a million Americans in submitting comments. The administration balked and has not finalized its attempt. If it does, we’re prepared to sue.

The administration tried to open 400,000 square miles of protected National Monument waters south and southwest of Hawai’i to commercial fishing. We sued, and protections were rapidly restored.

Trump’s Department of Agriculture yanked grants from farmers and community groups, but an Earthjustice lawsuit restored their funds. We are also litigating to restore funding to advance sustainable agriculture and environmental justice.

Every win matters. But we can’t do this without you.
