In just a moment, I'm going to ask you to make a donation to my Campaign for Congress. But before I share the link to do so, I want to explain why this request is unique and important.
The Truth is:
This month's FEC deadline is the most important of the campaign. Period.
We need as many donations as we can possibly receive before it's too late.
Let there be no mistake, our people-powered campaign is surging. We continue to receive high-level national endorsements and reach new voters everyday.
But the truth is, it's not enough.... yet.
As you may know, the amount of money a Campaign has on hand at critical junctures within the campaign is a large teller of its strength and viability heading into the election. And while we've made significant fundraising strides, we are still considerably short of where we need to be.
Filing a strong public campaign finance report will shape media coverage at a critical point in this campaign, and continue to force Russ Fulcher to take us seriously, and potentially even end up joining me on the debate stage.
Furthermore, cash on hand allows us to continue paying our hard-working staff, run high-level field organizing programs, and purchase digital advertising vital to us getting the word out to every Idahoan in District 1. In order to get rid of Russ Fulcher and bring substantive representation back to Idaho, it's going to take all of us.
Having to ask for money is one of my least favorite parts of Campaigning, but I know that with your support, we can win this seat back.
