I’m thinking about women living through their fourth year of war in Ukraine, who have to give birth underground without electricity as air raids hit hospitals and maternity wards.
I’m thinking about all those displaced in Gaza, living in flimsy tents without access to healthcare, food, or clean water as winter takes hold.
I’m thinking of the women and girls going hungry in Sudan, where famine, displacement, and violence wracks the region and steals the futures of so many.
