The world feels very dark right now.

So many are spending this holiday season separated from family and friends, detained, deported, imprisoned, or grieving those lost and hoping beyond hope for brighter days ahead.

This should be a time of year dedicated to peace and goodwill, and we long for the better world we know is possible, a place where people treat each other with kindness, children are protected, and the poor, hungry, and homeless are given the care they need and deserve.

We know you share these dreams because you’re part of the Common Dreams community.
