John, To all those celebrating, I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas! The holiday season invites us to slow down a little bit and remember what’s so important in life. The story of Christmas reminds us all to hold on to hope for a brighter future. That's exactly what I'm fighting for every day. I want to make sure opportunity is within reach for every New Yorker — it’s why we are laser-focused on making our state more affordable for working families. It’s why we launched free school meals for all K-12 students, helping students thrive and putting money back in their parents’ pockets. It’s why we invested more than $3 billion in public safety, helping drive down crime and making sure New Yorkers can feel safe in their communities.
