A video 15 years in the making
The Nintendo Entertainment System debuted in a limited test market release during the holiday season 40 years ago. This was a moment that changed video game history forever. We've spent much of 2025 unearthing new information about how this all came to be, and we truly believe this video will reshape the historical narrative around how - and why - the NES was born.
